Thanks for assistance. Tried all without success:

1. Fixit did not run.
2. System readiness tool would not install, showed an error and
3. could not d/l as, incorrectly, am not Administrator.

Well, let's hit it at a different angle.

Do you have win7 DVD?

If you download SFCFix.exe by Niemiro, pop your DVD in and run SFCFix.exe

Follow Instructions.

Then try FIXit and SURT again.

Little more explanation on am not administrator.

Who is the administrator? You can't make changes to a computer, download, install & run executable programs without administrator rights.

What version of Win7 do you have x32 x64?

If you have x64 check your PM (private message)
