Cannot update?

The download is always at 0% even after 45mins. What is wrong actually?

There have been some issues reported that Windows 7 won't update. You may or may not received an error message when this occurs. Microsoft has a troubleshooter available here:

Hi,
Well if you made a system image before you started the installation process you could simply cancel and restore that image then try again later.

Now you might as well sit tight and wait it out for a while
Then click Start and type in the search box
services
Click the suggestion or the enter key
Make sure these services are all running and on automatic delayed start.
Double click the listings to get the options to change them.
Background intelligent transfer services
Cryptographic
Windows installer
Windows update
