I just bought a brand new older model Canon ip4300 printer on eBay to replace my even older broken ip5000 and haven't installed it yet. I went ahead and uninstalled the drivers for the ip5000.
Going to Canon's website the driver listed is dated 11/01/2006 and I suspect (but not positive) is the same driver on the software disk that came with the printer.
Which is the preferred way to install the drivers for the new ip4300 use the website drivers/software disk or let Windows 7 detect the drivers?
