cant access dual screen

I have a HP510 notebook and recently updated to Win7 ultimate, however now i cannot pick up dual screen. using standard VGA graphics controller, updated driver, used to work fine on XP. wont detect automatically, however im sure whilst on xp i had a different programme to access. Anyone ideas or advice will be very much appreciated!!

ok you need to download the correct graphics drivers the standard one installed by windows 7 isn't the right one it's just to get it working.

now those are for xp so they may or may not work alternativly you could try intel for the intel 915gm express chipset video driver.

if you go through device manager you could try and ask windows to search for an update to your driver software.

if that doesn't work post and i'll try to help during the day.
