Directory opus not compatable

ok so i installed windows 7 x64 and a few other programs (directory opus, steam, firefox, magic iso, office 07, magic disc, utorrent, media monkey, google chrome) now when i click on control panel from the start menu it wont open. shows a little twirl like it tried to find target but than nothing.... same thing when i right click on my computer and go to properties.... now if i go into my computer and click on control panel up at the top it goes in to there but if i click on system properties from my computer same thing.... nothing.....i tried a system restore to a few days ago and it said it cant restore, did the same thing to 4 different restore points but. im at a loss.... if i go into control panel via my computer than right click on system and go to open in new window it will open up system prop but thats the only way.... is there something wrong with my targets? anyone else have this problem?

After uninstalling directory opus this issue has been resolved

Hi djstrum, welcome to the forums.

The only viable option I can suggest is to run a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html to see if that helps (it won't uninstall your other apps).

If that fails you may need to re-install but then try accessing 'Control Panel' & 'System Properties' then after each application install, try again. It could be a piece of software thay is causing the issue.

Hope this helps :)

The support forum for Directory Opus states it does not yet support Win7.

Not sure as yet what this board's(7F) policy is towards posting links, but HERE is the link, anyway. Maybe D.O. is the issue.
