Solved Can't add new libraries anymore

Just played around a tad with my newly installed Windows 7 and now I can't create new libraries anymore: pressing on the New library button gives no result; after right-clicking on the Libraries icon in the Navigator and selecting New I see the greyed out (Empty). What could be the matter? Is there any way to restore the lost functiionality?

System Restore back to when it worked....easy.

I've already rolled back my system to the earliest available restore point, however the problem seems to have originated at some time earlier... No suggestions for some cunning tweak that could help?

Hello Guakamole, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if using the tutorial below to restore the default NEW - Library (step 7) may be able to help restore this for you.

Dear Brink, thanks a lot for your assistance!!! That turned out to be just what I needed - I downloaded the Restore_Library_New_Context_Menu_Item reg file and it solved my problem. It's a great forum, keep on the good work!
