Are you booting into bios and setting it to boot from the DVD drive first?

Hi,

If I understand you correctly, it is the 7 dvd that won't boot?

Other dvd's boot fine?

If that is the case, there seems to be something wrong the 7dvd, could be a bad download, a bad burn, or a bad dvd disc.

You could download the newer relaseo 7100 and try burning it at a slower speed.

Also, what type of dvd did you use - some dvd drives are picky.

It might be your dvd drive doesn't like that particular brand of dvd.

Do you have another blank dvd you could try?

Did you check the hashes of the .iso ?

The correct figures for7100 x64 are:

CRC32: 58FB2BE0
MD5: 98341AF35655137966E382C4FEAA282D
SHA-1: FC867FE1AB2E0A9796F9E4D155B44EA6998F4874

You can install this app., then rt click the .iso, select Properties, then File Hashes - it will calculate the values for you:

HashTab... is the coolest thing ever!

If the hashes are correct, try a different .iso burner, like this one:

http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

When you have installed it , rt click the .iso, select Open With, isorecorder.

Hope it helps

I downloaded HashTab and do what you say. I compare all (crc32,md5,...) and its ok, it show me green :)

I also try to burn .iso with isorecorder. But when i select image and insert empty dvd disk, it show me disk is non-usable cannot use this media. I have Cryaliss dvd media and is 100% blank. I try with other empty media i have and nothing, same thing.

Have your tried upgrading your bios? it might be set not to recognize that format - name of windows.
I found one ISP that failed to allow Win 7 access to internet, I also found that same ISP failed to allow Windows SE-ME acess. Check your manufacture to see if the bios will accept Win7.

Might be worth visiting the manufacturer of your dvd drive - see if they have a firmware/driver update on the site.

check an see who makes your BIOS. then use google to
how to flash (American Megatrends Inc) bios. or whom ever makes your Bios.
really is not that hard. read and follow instructions. easy

my instructions for flash my bios:
Step1: download the newer version of your bios.
Step2: Please right click AFUWIN.exe
Step3: Click "Run as administrator".

»Notice
If you encounter problems while updating the new BIOS, DO NOT turn off your system since this corrupt BIOS might cause your system failed to boot up. Just repeat the process, and if the problem still persists, update the original BIOS file. If the Flash Memory Writer utility was not able to successfully update a complete BIOS file, your system may not be able to boot up. If this happens, your system will need service.

I find bios update for me. I have 2 files in folder and read me file.

Yes, instruction seem to be rather 100%.
If you do not have a floppy you can change that to USB -flash drive, just make sure you have boot to USB set, I have my BOOT order set the following:
1. USB
2. Floppy
3. DVD drive
4. Sata HD
all you need to do then is shut down. insert USB with files then start.
also you will have the option when you flash bios to save the old bios.
I do recommend you save. you can save simular to:
5-12-bios.rom

Yes. I have floopy, i already make a bootable floopy and copy this 2 files on. All i have to do is flash the bios.

˝I do recommend you save. you can save simular to:5-12-bios.rom˝
What you mean with that?

There also should be a place where you can clidk save old bios.
simply name it so you remember which one it is.... some time new bios are junk and not to ones likes.
