Can you please post a screenshot of your Network Connections folder? Type this into Explorer to get there: Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections

Thanks!

Im having the exact same problem. I want to use the wireless internet signal for my xbox from my laptop (dont feel like shellin out a hundo for a wireless adapter if i heve a perfectly good laptop with wireless capabilities sitting right next to the xbox)

Previously i had bridged the LAN and wireless connections in windows vista and checkd some sharing options and it had worked. HOwever, i recently upgraded to windows 7 ultimate and i did everything the same and its not working. The internet and everything works on the laptop, the LAN green and yellow lights are flashing but the damn xbox wont connect!

I have attached a pic displaying the network connections folder. The LAN is unplugged, I know this, thats not the problem, i know this.

As for weather im using a static or dynamic ip connection, i am not entirely sure.

Any advise would be helpful, thanks

all i did was highlight your lan and internet icon in the picture you have posted and right click on them and press bidge connections, i would recommend you don't bridge the wifi if its not in use or you don't need it.
