I have the OPPOSITE problem to everyone else. If I mark five files in a folder as READ-ONLY, then select all files in the folder and select delete. I first get the usual "are you sure you want to delete these 17 files" to which I hit "yes". But then it should prompt me again when it tries to delete the ones I have marked as read only but this doesnt happen!. I need this becuase when I take photos, I mark them as locked on my camera (which causes them to have the read-only attrib in windows) and I want to delete all but the ones I have locked. Windows completly ignores the read only attribute of these files and goes ahead and deletes them!. This is by FAR the most annoying thing I have encountered in Win7 - and its a long list! If I need to change the "type" associated with my account to change this, I will be sick... that will not work for me at all...
