Can't change wallpaper

Everytime I change my wallpaper to a different one, it doesn't change, but remains the same as this one wallpaper which I deleted ages ago but it doesn't go away.

How can I remove it?

Hello Saroy,

You might double check to see if you may have somehow prevented the changing of the desktop background using either one of the options in the tutorials below.

Thanks but neither helped. It will only change to solid colours, no my own pictures.

For solid colors, it sounds like this may be the issue instead. Try using step 3 in the tutorial below to see if that may be able to help.

That didn't help either .. I might be re-installing windows 7 soon anyway, because i'm experiencing too much problems.

Before re-installing try restore back to the date where it was working correctly.
