Cant connect to wireless network

Yesterday i was forced to clean reinstall the win7 32-bit RC as it died on me and i couldnt repair it, and now im having major problems connecting to my wireless network. I got my wireless card drivers installed all ok and when i go to connect to my network it connects saying it has limited connectivity and that the network is unidentified. I've tryed everything, assigning a static ip, changing the channel on my router, different wireless card drivers and various other things on these forums and nothing works.

btw it was working fine if slightly dodgy before i had to reinstall win7 last night. My wireless card is a NETGEAR wg311v2 (i have a newer card but it wont work on windows 7...but my older card does..go figure) and my router is a NETGEAR DG834PN

From command prompt, type:

ipconfig /all

and see if your adapter has a valid physical address (mac) instead of all 0s or something. Recheck settings here as well.
