Cant create partition !!

Hi guys ..

This is how it looks in computer management in win 7 ...

healthy OEM Partition 14.75 GB
healthy system 200.MB
( C ) healthy Boot 420.56 GB
Lenovo ( D ) 30.25 GB

My question :
C drive is too large and i need a new drive to store my multimedia files on, i shrinked C but the system refused the new allocated drive cause it said i have the maximum number already.
I tried to extended D but couldnt since its a logical drive.
I thought of deleting one drive but didnt know which one, and i dont want to delete the drive that has the factory backup image on since its hidden .

Hi,
possibly the cause is "Basic Disks", in that config you can only use 3 primary disks and 1 extended (with within this one logical drives). Maybe you can convert your disk into a "dynamic disk", this one doesn't have the limitations
How-to? In comp-management, right-click on the disk (not on the volumes!!!) and there you see "Convert to dynamic". Follow the screens..

I have considered this option, but the problem with it is i have to delete all partitions if i want to go back to Basic disks ...
Could new partition be created using third party software without converting to Dynamic disk !!

Use free Partition Wizard bootable CD to Resize your C partition to Create New partition(s) as you wish.

Follow GregRocker's advice and use Partition Wizard to repartition/resize your drive.

What does the OEM partition contain?
What does the Lenova partition contain?

We can better advise you if you could fill out your system specs.

HOW TO FILL OUT YOUR SYSTEM SPECS

In the line at the top of www.SevenForums.com you will see UserCP.
That is an abbreviation for User Control Panel.
Click on UserCP.
In the left-hand column, under Your Profile you will see Edit System Spec.
Click on Edit System Spec
You can copy and paste from the output of Speccy, Speccy - System Information - Free Download to fill out much of the info. Be sure to use the Other Info section of your System Specs for such info as your optical drive, your wireless adapter, your speakers, etc.
