I have two emails in my Windows Live email inbox that will not delete. All other emails are OK. When I attempt to delete those two I get an error message saying an unknown error has occurred but it won't delete. How do I delete those two? Thanks. Hal.

Try unlocker

If that does not work and it may not, since its primarily for files, you may want to try in safe mode.

Go to the website of your email provider and delete from the server.

IMAP or POP3? If IMAP it may be stuck on the server. If POP3 (and you do not have the option to "leave mail on server" checked in WLM) then it's a problem with WLM. I'd try to do a repair: Programs and Features/Windows Live Essentials. If you choose "repair" it should repair all the components of Essentials that were installed, including Mail.
