I have a little problem in here with deleting 2 folders under W7.
You can see the problem from the pic below, Windows just tells me that i DO NOT have any permissions to change/view permissions or to delete this.

This problem has only occured with "Ventrilo server" folders.
I also can't delete any files in the folder and one of those folders i can't even access for view.

I've also tried deleting it from cmd(running it with admin permissions ofcourse) but still no luck.

Any help will be appreciated
- Distro.

Hi Distro, you can first take ownership of the folder and then try deleting it. See here: Vista Forums ... Still unable to delete the folder, download and install malware bytes anti malware and there's an option under More Tools>File Assasin. This can delete locked folders. Good Luck,Dinesh. You can add a "Take Ownership" menu item to the explorer right click menu by using a registry edit script or by using the following small FREE portable app (doesn't have to be installed) Ultimate Windows Tweaker v2, a Tweak UI for Windows 7

Here's a screen shot showing where in the program it allows you to create two different kinds of "Take Ownership" commands on the explorer right click context menu: One for drives and folders and one for files, simply by checking the appropriate box. You can find registry scripts that allow you to do the same thing, but what I like about doing it with a program like this, is that should you ever want, you can remove the menu items just as easily, simply by running the app and unchecking the boxes. (This app also allows you to add some other very useful menu items as well. My favs are "Copy to folder" and "Move to folder.")

Anyway, these menu items should make it a simple matter to regain control over folders or files that are giving you problems.
