I had to do a hard reset to my Linksys WAG354G router today and now, although it is working reasonably well when I open the Network and Sharing Center it shows just 'Internet' instead of my network name. Also, When I click on my connection in the system tray all I see is 'currently connected to Network Internet access above the dividing line. There is no mention of my network below the line so I cannot disconnect and reconnect.

Also, when I click on my network name and open the general tab, it says that ipv6 connectivity - no connection. When I do a diagnose Windows says it can't find a problem.

I'm also having problems in that when I do a broadbandspeedtest on the connection download is fine but upload always fails, which is probably why I can't get to some websites. This happens on all speed tests I do.
Thanks.

Did you reset the linksys to it's default settings?

Ye, as I understand it, a hard reset takes it back to default. I had tried cycling the power but that didn't get me internet access so I went for the reset so I could start again. Maybe I missed a setting or two?
