Solved Can't download google updates (+++) even thou IE11 is running fine

Hi-Have HP P6000 Win 7 Home Prem 64 bit: IE11 allows me to visit any web site but when I attempt to
update programs (ex: Google Chrome, Spybot and...) I get message that 'NO internet connection'.
Have disabled firewall, NOT running any antivirus right now (system had Norton 360 and McAfee in past but currently are not enabled - via msconfig). Any help is greatly appreciated...jnh999

How are you trying to update Chrome ?

It`s done through Chrome`s settings.

Chrome update

It just informs me that 'No internet connection' and to Whitelist Google Chrome (Firewall are DISabled).
Also get same ie error when attempting to download Spybot (and other programs). Please note that I can view web sites Without any problems - just not able to download any file updates...jnh999

Hi,

It's not recommended to use more than one security products together, it might conflict so can you please remove other security products and check if that helps?
