Can't find spam folder

I have windows live mail 2011 and can't seem to find the spam folder. I can view it when I open my email through the provider, but unable to find it on live mail 2011. Is this something I need to set up in order to have a spam folder? Thanks for any suggestions/help.

Maxie, thanks for the link to the guide. I have a junk folder which only contains 6 emails(don't know why). I can't find the rest of the spam mail...not in inbox. My provider(Frontier) mail has a folder named 'spam' which contains all the junk that I am not receiving in Windows mail. Why isn't windows live mail showing all my junk Mail?

Have you checked the Settings for Junk Mail ...

I have taken computer to tech in past to figure out problem...fix was to go to provider mail whenever I want to check junk mail, since it isn't showing up on windows live mail 11.
