Can't fully boot Dvd windows 7 installation disk

Hello, So i burned an .ISO Windows 7 ultimate ( 64 bit ) right now im running on ( 32 bit ) I can't install directly trought dekstop because i get this error "this installation disc isin't comaptible with your version of windows.." So i tried to boot with installation disc, after "setup is loading files" or something, i just get a windows 7 start up screen no letters or anything it just stays there. Only the cursor blue wheel thingy spins for few seconds. I tried different installation files .iso and non iso nothing helped.

"this installation disc isin't comaptible with your version of windows.." This error code sounds to me as if the 32-bit was not Win 7 Ultimate. Is that correct? You need to install the same version i.e. Home Premium or whatever the case might be.

The smart move is once everything you want is backed up from the drive wipe C clean and install the 64bit fresh! You don't really have any upgrade path from 32bit anything to 64bit anything! Here a fast wipe when booting live from GParted on flash drive if not disk or simply opening up the command prompt option when booted from a 7 USB Install Key to run the DiskPart tool and clean command and then see a fresh primary created is seen to when making any OS changes. Since you won't be able to use the WET tool(Windows Easy Transfer) between the two platforms you have to plan everything out fresh from the basic start off.

The solution was pretty simple, i just had to wait 20 Minutes for the installation screen to show up, not sure why, installation took about 1Hour. But so far using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit without a problem. Thank you for replies.

I've run into that on a number of occasions where the installation will appear to hang completely. But once you give it a good wait for something in the background to finish then sees the installation suddenly take off and complete. Generally that most often seen with an install from optical however while flash drive installs always seem to go on a faster and smoother.

You'll need to burn confirmed ISO for your licensed version with ImgBurn at 4x speed as it's likely a bad disk, ISO or burn.

The Passcape ISO Burner would be more suitable as well as compatible with the 64bit Windows once on. That also offers a usb install key option as well as being a freeware.

I haven't seen the hanging install with 7 oddly while that was commonly seen with XP and Vista and of course with the Window 8 CP and RP builds where it would take a full hour. Each 7 install has finished up in 20min. regardless of optical or USB Install Key being the media used.
