I clicked on Windows Basic in personalization. Couple minuters later I switched back to an aero theme (Windows 7) and it's still on basic, preview desktop doesn't work along with other stuff. I did try other Aero themes also.

Yep, tried all of that. Funny thing is how I fixed it. I just clicked on every single theme on the personalization page and when I clicked back on the default Windows 7 aero theme it started working again.
