Can't get emails on workstation but they are fine on phone

Hi there,

We had a server meltdown last weekend and when it came back up, one of our users lost all the email in her inbox and cannot send/receive. However, they are still coming in on her smartphone. No changes have been made at all. Our IT only updated Citrix.

Any ideas?

Update. Now nobody has email on their workstation or their handhelds. We had someone come in to fix it, and it worked for a short while last evening, but it is down again.

it's all about the settings for the email server access, especially for companies with Exchange Server.
All the email is really on the server and the use of IMAP instead of POP leads to this symptom.

Get the settings correct and all the email should reappear, given that the problem wasn't a total crash of the
exchange server.
