Cant get GMA 900 resloution on windows 8

Hey,
i got bored of windows xp so i decided to upgrade to windows 8
windows 8 worked perfectly with me and was very fast and i installed all the drivers except the graphics which is GMA 900 what can i do to port this driver to windows 8 i tried compatibilty mode but it gives me error
what can i do guys

What you NEED is to stop posting over and over -- four times in an hour is ridiculous!!

I would have been ASTOUNDED if this worked on the 915 chipset -- as the last driver I saw that Intel wrote for this was in the Vista days, and it was an XPDM driver, not a WDDM driver.

Intel started WDDM drivers with the 945GM chipset -- anything older than that is relegated to XPDM drivers.

So, yes, it does support the GMA900 family, but only starting with the 945.

In addition to Pebbly's latest post, try running it in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

Pebbly: Unless I read it wrong, your post was for the Intel 965 chipset, NOT the Intel 915 chipset.

I know for a fact that the driver link I posted worked on Win7 -- as I have used those drivers myself on a laptop running the 915GM chipset.

Did you try the drivers from the linked page I posted? If so, what happened -- saying "didn't work" is not much use to us.

What version of Win7 are you running?
