So from the title itself. I have a G502 Proteus Spectrum and it has the latest drivers. The sides scrolling works on Browsers, Task Manager, Notepad/++, Visual Studio 2012. The side scroll also doesn't work on my laptop (W8.1, Excel 2013). If there's anything that could enable this, it would be a big help for me.

Edit:
To clarify, the G502 has a feature where you can click the mouse wheel to the sides so that the program can scroll horizontally.

Give this a shot as found here. You can also try holding shift then scroll down and it might just go horizontal doing that.

Solution:
Right-click on the status menu in Excel (bottom left corner of Excel window, normally says "READY") and de-select "Scroll Lock" option.

Unfortunately, neither of those work. I still can't scroll horizontally.

I might try the AHK thing and Mouse and Keyboard Center. But I'll be only able to update you a couple of hours later.

Best of luck, did you see the com add in that makes it work with holding shift (I guess it needed added in manually)?

Just had some time to spare. The com add thing made it work. It requires shift to be pressed down but that's good enough for me.

Thanks for the help :)
