Can't ID driverless devices "Base System Device" and "Broadcom USH"

There are 2 devices in the "Device Manager" that do not have drivers installed.

I just did a clean install of Window 7 SP1 32-bit to a Dell Latitude E6500. I have uploaded all the Windows updates and all seems to be performing well. However, there are two devices in the "device manager" that do not have drivers installed, and I can't determine what the devices are nor how/where to find the drivers for them online or elsewhere. The driverless devices are "Base System Device" and "Broadcom USH". When I look at the properties page of both devices, it says that the Base System Devices location is "PCI bus 3, device 1, function 3", and the Boradcom USH's location as "0000.001a.0002.001.000.000.000.000.000".

The laptop did NOT come with a drivers installation disk.

QUESTION: How can I identify what these devices actually are and, more importantly, how can I obtain the driver for them?

Well, as for the second part of your question......... have you tried using windows own driver update utility? Right click on the yellow exclamation point in Device Manager, choose update.

'Broadcom USH' points at the 'integrated built-in finger printer reader' device: Driver Details | Dell United States

One of the following 'Chip-set drivers' should fix the 'Base System Device' error:
- RICOH Memory Card Reader: Driver Details | Dell United States
- Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility: Driver Details | Dell United States
- Intel 'Active Management Technology' (MEI Driver): Driver Details | Dell United States

Can't locate latest Microsoft QFEs on Dell site

Saurabh A - your response is extremely helpful. Within the "How to download and install drivers in the correct order" article you provided, I linked to the "Dell Latitude E-Family & Mobile Precision Reimage "How-To" Guide" since I am using a Dell Latitude E6500 (1st generation). Section 2.6.2 of that guide recommends installation of the latest available Microsoft QFEs which, according ot the guide, are available "..."through the Dell System Softwawre utility posted on Dell's driver & downloads support website under the "Sytem Utilities" section." I can't find the "System Utilities" section, nor the Microsoft QFE drivers, anywhere.

Where can I find the latests Microsoft QFEs on Dell's site?

To access all pertinent drivers for your unit, please check this page: Drivers & Downloads | Dell United States > Select 'Windows 7 32 bit' to filter the 'Search Results' > 'System Utilities' is present in the list (3rd from the bottom) > 'Dell-Utility: System Software' is the related download
