Hi,
I upgraded to Windows 7 recently, and I am having troubles achieving the same level of bass that i had in windows vista.

I use a on-board sound card and my mother board is P5Q-PRO.

Ive gone into the sound settings and cant find anything to help me.

Same with me, the way i got my bass to the max, is by going to the HD audio control panel, go room correction, at the bottom Enable room correction, and set the decibels on the subwoofer to +10. that's the best you can get.

Maybe it's not detecting that you have a sub woofer, or 5.1 sound. not sure why tho.

I've just found you have to deslect full range speakers in the windows 5.1 speakers configuration and bass management and redirection works..
