Cant install anything

Hi

I have a toshiba satellite laptop with windows 7. It was amazing to use but till i encountered a huge problem. I can not install anything. Every software has "error opening file for writing" errors. I tried a system restore but still wouldnt help. I just got it so there is not chance of viruses.

Please help me. You guys are my only hope

Once again, see about the clean install. I think that is the cause of all the problems.

I did ask my family friend. He said he will ask the person who did it. Is there anything which could be the problem?

Yes my friend, bottom line. An upgrade install is unstable. All the problems that you had with the prior OS, will remain. I have seen in posts, an upgrade referred as a frankenseven. If your buddy tells you it was a clean install we will try to fix it. If it was an upgrade, you have to install, again. We will help. It is easy.

I would definitely do a clean reinstall ... in the time you spend chasing down a possible solution to the problem, you can reinstall the OS and be up and running... Good luck...

I tried safe mode and the install works fine. Free youtube to mp3 converter works perfect

i dont know how but when i used it in safe mode it works perfectly. Might have solved my problem but dont worry guys I am still going to ask him about the install

It is not just suppose to work in safe mode

I know but the install worked in safe mode so I am good for now. I have asked the guys and he is going to ask the person who did it.
