can't install ati radeon 2600 driver

so when i installed windows 7 i tried to install drivers ..realtek driver was succesfully installed but when im trying to install video driver in the middle of installation comes out message "the monitor might flicker" or sth like that and than monitor becomes black and than blue screen appears with error and immediately the monitor switchs off with message "out of range 28 khz\30 khz"
i have read some suggestions about changing screen resolution or others but it didn't help plz any opinions???

seems like your monitor doesn't support the output the video card is putting out lol so before installing factory drivers i would go into the control pannel and mess with the settings there for your monitor
