So dont know why my internet suddenly stopped working so I read that I should uninstall my network adapter under device manager. So I downloaded it and put it on my computer but when I run it I get a message that says
"Your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update. Update has been cancelled. (9996)

Anyone know what to do?

some network adapter drivers require manual installation in order for the hardware to be recognized by windows 7. I would suggest first uninstalling all network hardware drivers, then reinstalling manually, using device manger to search manually for the downloads from the manufacturer's website.
