Cant install windows 7

Hwllo gjys, im new to the forum, but anyway , i cant install windows 7 on my new computer
, got the hdd from my old laptop, idk how to format it but when i click new in windows 7 cd menu it pops up with error : Failed to create a new partion on the selected unused space :Error: 0x8007045d

I have also tried : format c:/ in cmd and diskpart or somthing like that.

Check in BIOS setup that you do not have EFI Boot disk in the Boot Order. Set DVD drive to boot first, followed by HD. Then under Storage/HD section check that SATA controller is set to AHCI to try install first.

If this fails wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command.

If that fails wipe with Clean command again but this time format an NTFS Primary Active partition using Step 2.2 here: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation then try install.

If that fails, run Disk Check from installer Command Line to check file system on HD. If probs test the HD with maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan.

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the DVD yourself? Try writing ISO to flash stick using Universal USB Installer to eliminate installer as prob.
