Can't Install Windows Live 2011 Essentials.

Not sure why it would do that, but remember, don't install it unless it is absolutely necessary. It's a complete pain in the neck and always gets in the way.

Could be a problem with any already installed parts of Live 2011.

If you have no 2011 Essentials programs installed and/or are prepared to start from scratch, I found this "uninstaller" set-up. The batch file runs the msiexec command and should hopefully clear up any remnants. If you do decide to run it, make sure you set a restore point first!! No guarantees that it will work! I've not used it, 2009 Mail is good enough for me.

I need Movie Maker for my sister to do her school projects on. And I don't want to spend 1500$ on an imac + final cut to achieve the same effect.

Not saying that macs are bad. Just saying that they're overpriced.

I did exactly hat I was supposed too and I still get the same error. Is there a way to download movie maker standalone?
