Can't login to Picasa Web from IE8

I can't connect me to the standard http://picasaweb.google.com
website. It keeps saying "redirecting", flashes back and forth, and finally says IE8 cannot connect to the webpage. I can sign-in to Google email & calender etc with no problem. But from there, cannot link by clicking on the "photo" drop down. I can't even get to the Picasa web log-in page. This had been working fine a few weeks ago...any ideas? thanks

Note: I can get to it ok from another pc Chrome browser

Update: that this was also an issue with IE9...see last post for resolution

Make sure it's not listed under Internet Options/Privacy/Sites.

Thanks roncerr, but it wasn't the Privacy/Sites, it was the Security/Trusted Sites! Some how the Picasaweb site was added; so I removed it and now can sign in to Picasa fine. Just wanted to update incase anyone else has the same issue.

Trusted sites have a lower level of security so they are less likely to be blocked. I'll bet you can access it as a trusted site, at least with the default settings for IE.
