Can't open Catalyst Control Center window

Catalyst control center is running, but I cannot get the window to open to make adjustments.

Background:
Finally was able to do an fix-in-place to my W7... several driver issues to conquer.
Now my dual monitor set up is acting goofy.
The task bar and desk top icons are showing a different monitors, display background is backwards (panorama image; left 1/2 on right and right 1/2 on left)- using display fusion program- and the mouse will not move from left screen to right screen if I try to scroll it left to right (I have to scroll it to the far left to get it to the right side screen).

I seem to recall having to do some settings in the Catalyst control center when I set this up originally, but I cannot get that screen to open.

I have tried the regular W7 display tab in the control center, but it's not helping.

I'm at school, can't look it up, go to the their web site, get the latest driver zip file, download, install, that should return the panel to you.

Hi

Couple of thoughts.

You mentioned you had driver problems was one of them the built-in Intel HD3000 graphics

theres a quirk whereby If your AMD drivers are installed and working BEFORE the Intel ones it does cause this kind of problem

UNinstall AMD - update Intel - reinstall AMD
Would suggest you use the DDU tool.
Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.1.9

did find another thread on the forum that Netframework should also be upto date before installing

No. The instructions, in the link I provided, provide a link on how to do it.

Updated driver. Screens are still flipped though and mouse still will not flow left to right screen correctly.
Ideas?

Hi brandofamily,

You might try installing this driver-

https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-non-gcn-16-2-1-beta

It's the last one that AMD will issue for your card.

You would need to uninstall Catalyst first using the instructions provided.

I think what wither means is that you need to uninstall Catalyst first, and then update the driver!

If you have a copy of Catalyst then you could use this to uninstall the program . . .

Download and run Revo Uninstaller [FREE] from here => Revo Uninstaller.

It starts with the programs built-in [default] uninstall process if there is one and then prompts you for additional cleaning. Select scan for leftover items and select one of the options available [I usually use the Advanced Scan option], then tick everything and click delete.

This will remove any registry/exe entries or orphans leftover from the original programs built-in [default] uninstall process.

Restart the computer.

Update the driver.

Reinstall Catalyst.

I hope this helps!

Drivers were completely uninstalled and new driver/ interface was installed and is working. The new interface is totally different than the Catalyst Control Center interface and gives non of the same adjustment options.
Problems w/ the screen still exist.

I was reading about the Crimson Control Center and, it seems they removed the multiple display section.

Since I don't have two monitors, I can't be much help but-

in the display settings for Win 7, is the left hand monitor shown as the first monitor in the Identify settings?
