Can't open Dvd/Cd drive

I want to install some software from my DVD/CD. In device manager under DVD/CD ROM Drives, I have 2 listings:
HL-DT-ST-DVD +- RW GS20N;
Magic ISO Virtual DVD-ROM000

When I check the properties on both I get This device is working properly. When I go to Computer under devices with removable storage I see DVD Drive (E and DVD RW Drive (Q. When I right click on DVD Drive (E and select "eject" absolutely nothing happens. When I right click on DVD RW Drive (Q. and select "eject" a green light flashes on the physical drive and a sound is made but the drive does not open. This is the same thing that happens when I press the physical eject button on the drive.

Why won't the drive open? I need to access it!!

little pin hole on the face of the drive -- stick a paper clip in it until the drive opens.

I have a Dell Precision M6500 laptop. I can see no pin hole on the face of the drive. Any other ideas?

This a slot or tray drive? This is what I get when searching that model number,

which is a slot drive, nothing to open. If it is a tray drive then it is possible that the opening mechanism has had it, which if that is the case then it is time for a new drive.

As for the second one,

Magic ISO Virtual DVD-ROM000

not doing anything it says it in its name, it is a virtual drive created by MagicISO,

which does show it as a slot drive so there is nothing to open, you just put the disk in the slot and it pulls it in itself.
