Hi, I just downloaded the upgraded Windows Live Mail Essentials 2011 and now when I send a link by e-mail it will not open. The Windows Live mail I had before was fully functional. I can open links sent to me by other others, but when I send a link to myself or out to a friend we cannot open it. I have checked on the IE8 defaults settings and they are OK. I fixed the 'page' area so that the 'send link by e-mail' are no longer greyed out (that had disappeared after the upgrade). Thank you for any help you can provide.
Update to post- I have found the answer. I found a post that said just to hit the enter key after the link before sending the e-mail. The link lights up and it's active. So now it works.
