Can anyone help here?. When I try to download a PDF I get a blank IE screen which after some time comes up with a message that there ia a fault with Adobe Acrobat reader. I've downloaded and installed a new version of Reader and it makes no difference. Sometimes (rarely) it works OK.

I've not got acrobat reader installed so I cant give you exact instructions, but I've had this problem before and cured it by going into the acrobat reader settings and unticked the box that said something like "render pdf's in browser" (or something like that)

Have a look to see if you can see that setting, if not I'll download and install acrobat and give you the exact instructions.

Lets try to localize the problem. Download another browser; chrome, FF etc and lets see if you can read PDF. Adjusting the setting would be the logical first move, as above.

Ok. I've downloaded Firefox and it works fine. The trouble is that i'd rather use IE for, several reasons.

Ok I've installed acrobat reader.

Go to the edit menu -> preferences -> on the side column select "internet" then untick Display PDF in browser.
