Can't open Photo Viewer (RunDLL)

Hello, when I try to open Photo Viewer I get this error message : "There was a problem starting E:\Programmes\Windows Photo Viewer\PhotoViewer.dll

The system cannot find message text for message number 0x%1 in the message file for %2."

I tried the solutions in these links :

Here I couldn't reregister the dll files (in step 2) and got an error message

I tried option 2 but when I run sfc /scannow "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them"

So is the System Restore my only solution now ?

Hello Gekiro, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if doing the items in the blue Note box under step 4 in Option Two may be able to help allow SFC to fix them afterwards.
