Can't pin anything to taskbar help

Tried everything i think, can't seem to get it to work it's just that to option to do so won't appear it was fine till now kinda confused.

If you use Start |All Programs and drill to the program in question and then RIGHT CLICK on the program, you should see a choice to Pin to Start Menu and another one to Pin to Taskbar.

That doesn't show up either anyways i fixed it thanks anyway.

I changed the registry to not show the shortcut arrow that what caused it , i fixed it by using vista shortcut manager to restore the arrow that it worked.
