Solved Can't play games in full screen

I'm using Windows 7 32-bit, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 graphic card. Driver ver 258.96
I've tried to play Half-Life and Medal of Honor in full screen mode. (Both are very old games so no window/full screen option)
But when I open the game, it pause and take me back to desktop.
Now whatever I try to go back in game it still takes me back to desktop again and again.
What can I do now is using a program to force the game to play in window mode, but still want to play in full screen.

Hi DJPop, have you tried running the games in compatibility mode? If you right-click the executable and go to properties, you'll see a tab called "compatibility", there you have different options..play around with it..it might help

Tick the box "Disable desktop composition" and the problem solve.
