Can't Print

I just installed Win 7 (7000) 64-bit on my system and would actually use it as my only OS if I could solve this one problem: My Dell AIO Photo 964 won't print. The driver is there and looks OK. When I try to print from Notepad, nothing happens at all, not even an error message. When I try to print from Word 2007, I get an error message saying that the printer isn't installed correctly. I tried deleting the printer and reinstalling it but no go. Has anyone else had a problem printing? My system is an Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 (2.66 GHz) on an Intel DG965WH motherboard with 8 GB RAM installed. The printer is on a USB port. The system runs Vista fine but no printing in Win 7.

I am having a similar issue. I install WINDOWS 7 Home edition. Anyway, I can't print and it always says that it is out of paper. I installed the 64bit version driver and still wont work.
Also, it won't detect my SONY memory card reader. Devices and Printers sees it, but you can't see it in the COMPUTER menu. Yet my thumb drives work fine. Any ideas?

Might want to try saving the driver to your documents, then right click and run in vista compatability mode. Then see what happens.

Under Windows 7 Home Premium I Can't Print to HP C4280

I can print documents from Notepad but not to an HP C4280. This printer may have stopped functioning after upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista.

The problem persists after downloading and installing the latest driver.

The symptoms are described in earlier posts, e.g. in the properties pages for the printer a document appears for a few seconds and then vanishes - no document is actually printed.

Try going to services (type services in search) then go to print spooler, it should be on automatic. See if this helps.

I had the same exact problem with my 4200 series HP printer, which I returned. Now with a Canon MP250 the same thing happens. Using Win 7 64bit Home edition. No documents left in queue and it says the doc was sent to the printer. Nothing happens.
Resetting print spooler does not fix this issue.

Lets start with basic troubeshooting make sure it using Latest drivers install if not go to HP website and obtain the Latest drivers. If that didn't fix you could try this article HP LaserJet 4200 Printer series- No response - HP Business Support Center

I installed Windows 7 Professional on a 64bit machine, upgraded from Vista Home, had no problems printing with Vista, but am unable to print from Windows 7. I installed a Kodak ESP 5 AiO, been through everything Kodak can think of to do, but nothing works. Yesterday I decided to try my wife's HP 720C. I installed it but have the same problem. I go to print a test message and have open the print status window, I see the print job appear then go blank, I get a message that says document has printed, but no document has printed. I would greatly appreciate any help.
