Cant Read SDHC cards anymore

Hi All,

Have a windows 7 desktop pc and all of a sudden my pc wont read sdhc cards.
I have read to disable the sdhc host but when my card readers are plugged in i cant see anything that says "sdhc host" but did disable and then reenable the card reader itself.
I also read about uninstall of generic sd/mmc usb device but that did not fix the problem also.
I have been having an issue where when i reset my pc it sits at "Marvel adaptor init 88se61xx" for a few minutes then loads so not sure if that is effecting the sdhc cards.
Hoping someone can help me.

If you can get your hands on anotther
card reader try that.

Tried with brand new Sandisk micro sdhc card reader and the computer can still not see the reader.
I have plugged it into front usb no luck.
I pluged it directly into rear usb port still no luck.
I can see the device in device computer management > disk management but still when i click my computer i can not see it.
Any ideas?
