I just downloaded Outlook hotmail connector from the official download website, and installed it to try, and explored it , it was working fine!.

After that I deleted the account and reconstructed it using pop3 conf., but didn't like the idea of no status update reflect to the webmail ,

Finally decided to use the IMAP Configuration to have the features of the connector which I tried First,

I deleted the pop3 account to return back to the connector configuration, the config. done successfully, but when outlook start it fail to pass the receive process , and produce the following errors:
x8004102A , x80041050

after restarting the outlook and trying again send/receive, the receive process comes to no end. until errors appear or cancelling it.

I just noticed that it restored the contacts, drafts and the folder structure on of my account from the first ever imap account which I created ( and deleted ) at the beginning .

By the way I deleted the first imap account from outlook and from the C:\Users\Xuser\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook ,,,,

what to do else ????

What I remember is that I renamed the folder of contacts from my native language to English language " Contacts " and now I cannot rename it again , when right click the contacts folder, the rename option is deactivated, how to achieve this ?

Some things you could consider trying:

  • Create a new email account, set it up the way you want, and see if that account works.
  • Uninstall/Re-install Outlook connector.
  • Uninstall/Re-install Outlook.
  • Try restoring to a restore point/backup image prior to when this problem started.
  • Ask for help on an MS Forum, as they already have some experience with this based on the link i gave you.

I recommend making a backup image and/or restore point before doing any "system changes".

From what i read in the link i gave you, this could be a problem on your PC and/or the Email server.
So, I'm not sure restoring your PC would fix it...
It sounds like you also might have added some complexity by changing languages with one of your renames.

Are you using a Hotmail account?
I thought Hotmail did not support IMAP.
I now see "IMAP support is available via IzyMail", and if you are using that it could add more complexity.

I'm just making some guesses here...

hope this helps,
david

Thanx a lot for pointing to Izymail, cos. I tried it , and it work perfectly, is it safe enough, also html and rich text messages are not for free ?

I never used Izymail and don't know anything about it.
You can Google for it to see what you can find out about it.
If it fixed your issue that's great.
Maybe someone else that is familiar with it will see this and comment on it.
