Cant recognize Movie DVDs

Hello everyone

I originally have Toshiba satellite with Vista home premuim installed everything was working fine, Then i upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit , what happens is that the DVD driver recognize every CD and DVD except the Movie DVDs i bought, and they were working fine back in Vista! i checked the DVD region stuff and everything is correct, i donno where is the problem, pls help

What type of movie DVD's are you using? Downloaded from web or what? Also what player are you using to play the movies in? Did you happen to apply any newer codecs for movie play back? There all kinds of issues this could be. Please post a few more details in the problem and what is actually happening when trying to play a movie. ;)
P.S. Could we please move this to the Media section of the forum? Seems we could get a little more input there since this is media related issue. Thanks
