I just read a flash drive used for Ready Boost should use exFAT file system.
I have a PNY 8 Gb in my laptop that I successfully reformatted from FAT32 to exFAT.
I have Patriot 8 Gb in one desktop that I tried to reformat from FAT32 to exFAT but it kept telling me it was in use. I rebooted that computer and tried again but failed. I moved it to another computer and tried again and failed.
I tried to delete the READY BOOST files and could not.
Why can't I reformat it?
