The home versions of Windows 7 cannot act as a host for Remote Desktop but they can be used as a client. Remote Assistance is not the same as Remote Desktop. What edition of Windows are you using? The home versions of Windows 7 cannot act as a host for Remote Desktop but they can be used as a client. Remote Assistance is not the same as Remote Desktop.
