Cant run a Program in "XP Mode" detects virtual Pc!!

Hey guys i got this problem... Anyone have any info on this!? I'm New to all this sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Hi Matt,

I haven't tried this application out yet, but I intend to when I can. It is possible that some applications, although they are able to run in a native installation of XP, are unable to do so when XP is installed under a virtual environment, as is the case here. It could also be down to the fact that the version of XP used here is SP3.

The "XP compatability mode" has limitations in 3D, video streaming etc etc.

Have a look at the pdf document which describes the limitations of "XP mode".

This mode is only really intended for old legacy simple applications and hardware that don't make use of things like the video driver directly.

It does this very well -- but for that particular application you probably will still need to "Dual Boot" or use a separate machine.

Things like Games or Multimedia (except basic audio applications) are not supported (and probably wouldn't work even in a "Normal Classical" VM created with VMWARE workstation etc.
