Basically I found a good working TV tuner in my Uncles basement and have hooked it up to my HP-Pavilion a6020a and I need drivers for it but there are so many and my Tuner is basically UN-named. Could someone please help me fix this with some sort of bulk driver software? Thanks in advance, Rangi.

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as "bulk driver software", if by that you mean, driver software that will work with anything.

How is the Tuner connected to the PC? IF it's USB, you already have USB drivers installed.

What you'll need is Application software to operate the tuner (select channel) and possibly, to work features incorporated into the tune (i.e., video capture). You also may need other software to adjust screen resolution of the video display of what the tuner sees.

Without knowing the make and model tuner, all of this will be very hard to do.

If you're only talking about hooking up a TV as a monitor, that is very different.

Lol, A real TV Tuner

What I meant by that is like, some software that has drivers for all T.V. Tuners so that I could identify mine. It isn't a USB as it had to installed into the motherboard. Please help if you can. Thanks, Rangi.

There are two things you can do to try and find the manufacturer.
First, look at the card itself - it should have a name or model number printed somewhere on it. On the Tuner chip itself there is usually a model number and revision number. Google these numbers/names to find the manufacturer, then note the model number.

Second, go to Device Manager and find the unknown device (because it has no driver it will be unknown). Right click and choose Properties. In the drop-down choose Hardware IDs. Note the 4 digit code after VEN and DEV. Then go here: PCI Vendor and Device Lists and determine the manufacturer and model number.

Then go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver for the tuner.
You will also need to download and install the software for the card to use it as a tuner. The driver and the software provide two different functions.

Let us know what you find.
