Can't save Power Point 2003 file because of registry policy settings

I get error that my registry policy settings does not allow me to save a power point file on my old Windows 7 PC with Office 2003 installed. How can I fix that?

Is this to do with Office 2003 Service Pack 3? Unfortunately Microsoft have taken down their official support pages for this problem.

Instead, you might want to read Office SP3 and File Formats.
