Cant save word doc to usb

I can't save a word doc to my formatted flash drive (I attached the message it gave me, that I had no permission to save it to the usb.

I also attached a screenshot of my other problem, which is that under properties of the usb it has no securities tab.

My Word 2010 doc uses Windows 7 and is on a partitioned MacBook Pro. I hope y'all can help.

Hi Trisha,

Welcome to Seven forums.

It seems that USB drive is not in a proper format. You would need to format the USB drive in Windows before you can use the same.

Please format the same and they try to use it and let us know if it works for you. Right click on the drive and then select format, press ok and it should complete.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
