I have 3 laptops connected to a wifi network, an XP Pro, Visa Home and a Windows 7 64bit ultimate.

The XP and Vista machines can see the other two but the windows 7 cant see the XP or the Vista machines.

The XP machine can even see files on the Windows 7 machine shared folders.

But the windows 7 machine can not see other devices.

The windows 7 machine can access printer on the network and the internet.

Windows 7 machine has file and printer sharing on and is set to discoverable on the network.
{the wifi network is in a home group}

I just cant get it to see network drives or even the other PCs.

it can be the firewall of the anti virus software check there first to see if it is blocking the sharing of the devices

Some additional info,
I have Microsoft security essentials installed and have switched off the windows firewall.
Im using Windows 7 64bit ultimate.

I don't have any other security or firewall software on the PC.

All the windows 7 help files just tells you to switch on the file and print sharing and have discoverable enabled. This is of course set up as I see it correctly.
