Can't setup TV tuner... it fails :(

I just got an ATI TV Wonder 600 usb TV tuner and the software that came with it is crudeware... so I wanted to use Media Center... and the tv tuner does work fine with the software that came with it, but I wanna use Media Center. So when I go through setup the install for PlayReady instantly fails... but I am able to progress... I get all the way to where it detects my tv tuner and then after it is done scanning for channels and whatever it gets too....

If you installed the software, have you uninstalled it?

I have installed the software, and I have removed it all and was able to reinstall it again, so are you saying I should uninstall the software I have? because it is conflicting with MC?

Yes, that is my thinking...unistall the software, shut down, unplug the USB TV Tuner, restart, plug it in, the drivers required to use this device, if compatible with Windows 7 WMC will be installed, then re-run the WMC setup from the beginning.

I have the same ATI 600 usb and the same problem you have. I did the following and now I can use both WMC and Catalyst Media Center.
