Cant share libraries

i cant figure out why windows wont let me share libraries. every time i check the library then 'save changes', when i return to the settings all except for printer checkboxes are unchecked again. i have tried everything i can think of, please help. thanks.

Are you saying that when you set permissions on the Library folders (in Explorer) to share them with the Homegroup, the permissions are not saved?
